Class Intro & White Balance

Today we were given an introduction to this semesters up & coming events. Discussion of locations for workshops took place & ideas for our major folio.

A short workshop was also conducted involving the use of auto and manual white balance in camera. The purpose of this exercise was for us to see how results differ between the auto & manual modes. Shooting with the white balance set to daylight for instance will give more consistence in its results allowing for easier correction in post processing, compared to auto mode where the white balance could differ through every shot resulting in having to go through each individual shot to correct later on in post processing.
